African Continental Summit and Hyojeong Family Blessing Festival

Regardless of rain and weather complications, the Mother of Peace, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, was determined to take the rain as a blessing and commence the African Continental Summit and Hyojeong Family Blessing Festival on December 7 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Due to the rain, the program was set back an hour, but once Dr. Moon entered the venue, the stadium turned into a festival. 200,000 people were standing and dancing, singing without a care for the pouring rain.

The Blessing Ceremony began with an Interfaith Water Ceremony and the reading of the Declaration to Heaven. Thirteen religious leaders representing all of Africa conducted the Interfaith Water Ceremony, and the reading of the Declaration to Heaven sanctified the entire Blessing venue.

Representing 54 countries, the newly-wed couples, already-married couples, and African leaders and their spouses entered the stage. Dr. Moon sprinkled holy water over the 162 couples as they passed by her.

Afterwards, young people and students recited the pure love pledge and gave a congratulatory dance performance which stirred up the entire stadium, and Prophet Samuel Radebe, from the Revelation Church of God in South Africa, danced merrily to the music.
