57th Day of All True Things Celebrations in America
To celebrate the 57th Day of All True Things, Unificationists around the country came together to express their appreciation for God’s creation through prayer and service.
Honolulu Family Church
The Honolulu Family Church held a special joint Sunday Service to commemorate the 57th Day of All True Things on June 2. The service, which included a special offering table, was held at Ala Wai Elementary School.
Rev. Kazuo Takami, the district pastor of Hawaii, explained the history and significance of the Day of All True Things. Rev. Takami also emphasized the importance of tithing. He quoted stories of tithing from the bible, about figures such as Abram, Jacob, and Moses.
LOS ANGELES FAMILY CHURCH
Los Angeles Family Church held a special Sunday celebration featuring music by the LA Band, an offering table full of delicious treats. The service was given by Rev. Young Tack Yang, pastor of District 12.
New Hope Family Church of Maryland
Day of All True Things was celebrated with enthusiasm at New Hope Family Church in Bowie, Maryland.
The 57th holiday celebrating the created world was a big success. The banner, hand made by the Youth Ministry, sparkled, and everybody enjoyed the gorgeous triple layer handcrafted holiday cake with real flower decorations. Pastor Jim Boothby’s sermon highlighted the beauty of creation and the natural world. A delightful chicken teriyaki luncheon topped off a morning of wonderful celebration.
