Seidels’ Book on Relationship Enriches Their Growing Tribe

When Dietrich Seidel passed into the spirit world in November 2016, his wife Elisabeth was determined that her husband’s legacy be secure. Working with long-time friend and colleague Jennifer Tanabe, the first volume of his writings “Unification Insights into Marriage and Family” was soon published. 

Reviewers were impressed by the book finding valuable insights of all kinds, something for everyone you could say. Cheryl Wetzstein wrote: “Anyone in search of sound advice about marriage and parenting will be well served by his words.” From Farley Jones: “This volume is a rich resource for anyone seeking greater understanding of Unification teachings, of one man’s spiritual journey or practical ideas for nurturing family harmony.” And Bob Selle concluded, “All in all, it is hearty food for the intellect and for the soul.”

Elisabeth has offered this book to Dietrich’s family, friends and neighbors, and the response has been so positive. One young man excitedly reported that he and his fiancée are reading it together every day–Hoon Dok Hwe style!

A friend, who is separated from her husband, told Elisabeth that she found many tips on how to save her marriage. 

Another couple who know the Seidels well were happy to learn more about Dietrich’s life through his autobiography, which is included in the book.

Inspired by the book and Elisabeth’s evident love for her husband, many of these friends were delighted when Elisabeth asked, “Why don’t you join our tribe!”

How wonderful that this book (which is the first of several volumes) is helping Elisabeth to develop her role as a tribal messiah and at the same time to continue the work she and her husband did on marriage and family enrichment.
