Japanese 7-Day Revival Workshop is Building Momentum

Japanese Unificationists from the United States, Japan, Korea, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand have gathered in Las Vegas to attend a seven-day, Divine Principle and revival workshop at the International Peace Education Center (IPEC).
The workshop began on Saturday, January 14, and will run until Friday, January 20. During their stay, the 140 workshop attendees will listen to presentations about the Divine Principle and True Parents’ lives, as well as tour prominent national landmarks like the Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon, in order to connect more deeply with True Parents’ vision for global, national, and local providences.
Rev. Soichiro Nakamura, long-time education director for Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Japan, was specially invited to be the main lecturer at the workshop, and so far, his lectures on the heart of Jesus and the love of God have reportedly moved many of the participants to tears. Keiko King, one of the 43 sisters who supported True Parents’ pioneering efforts to advance the providence in Alaska in the 1980s, shared,
“I’m truly grateful we could attend this special seven-day workshop for Japanese members. This IPEC center’s spiritual atmosphere is very high. Through that we really feel we are receiving rebirth. We already shed a lot of tears, actually, because we are so moved. I really feel the Heavenly Parent and True Parents already prepared so much for us before we came here in order for us to receive so much grace.”
Reiko Jenkins echoed this sentiment, expressing gratitude for everything that has been taught and discussed so far:
“Every session was spiritually high and our hearts and spirits were opened by all the speeches and the lectures by Rev. Nakamura….God’s heart for seeking joy by giving love and the heart of loving enemies has become so much more realistic to me. The heart of Jesus was deeply conveyed also. I am very grateful for this workshop at IPEC…Thank you, True Parents!”
Dr. Ki Hoon Kim, Continental Director of FFWPU North America, joined the workshop attendees on their second day, offering the sermon at the Las Vegas Family Church, whose audience increased to nearly 300 thanks to the Japanese visitors in attendance, as well as a lecture about the significance of Las Vegas to the larger providence.
Commenting on his most recent conversations with True Mother about the revival workshop itself, Dr. Kim shared,
“True Mother said yesterday, ‘Let Japanese families and brothers and sisters come together and unite together in True Parents’ spirit, and let us save this country, America, for the sake of Heavenly Parent and True Parents.’ So please support and please pray for these wonderful Japanese family members, that we can bring great victory for the sake of this country.
“Japan, Korea, and America—we are all brothers and sisters, one family under God, and we will bring great victory for God and True Parents and for America.”
Young people in attendance have also expressed their gratitude for the opportunities provided by the workshop to grow in their faith and understanding of God and True Parents. One Japanese-American brother, Michael Hirakami of Minnesota, shared,
“I really wanted to come to this workshop so that I can reconnect with Heavenly Parent and True Parents on a deeper level. At first, I expected there’d be a lot of lectures, which can be overwhelming sometimes, but on the very first day of the lecture, we enjoyed ourselves, which was refreshing to me…. As a second-generation Unificationist, I feel that we really have to reconnect with True Parents, and pass on [their tradition] to the next generation and [our] brothers and sisters in order to realize God’s dream as soon as we can. “
A second seven-day Japanese workshop is scheduled from January 23-29, and it’s clear that God’s work to bring new life to the Unification movement and the world is gaining momentum through the efforts of both the presenters and attendees who are involved in these workshops.
For those whose spouses or family members will attend the second workshop, consider registering for an English seven-day Divine Principle seminar scheduled to run simultaneously to the Japanese revival and learn more about the Divine Principle together as a family. Registration for the English workshop can be found at familyfed.org/ipec or via the link below.

This is such great news, to see the Holy Spirit in action and coming to life in our Japanese brothers and sisters! May we all inherit that spirit and revival of heart here in America so we may together save this nation and the world.
