Hundreds of Unificationists attended a special Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU) Leaders’ Conference at the New Yorker Hotel in New York City on August 28. The three-day conference, titled “All In,” was a last call for action among Unificationists, emphasizing unity and to spread the message of Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon’s world restoration plan leading up to 2020.

The WFWP Girls held their second fundraiser for one of the organization’s flagship programs – the Schools of Africa. 

The United Nations (UN), in partnership with the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation (FAF), hosted an open event in New York to observe International Youth Day on August 13. Young people gathered from across the country and globe, including representatives from Youth and Students for Peace and FFWPU.

From August 8 to 10, four delegates from Youth and Students for Peace attended the International Youth Assembly hosted by the Friendship Ambassadors Foundation in Washington, D.C. The three-day assembly brought together youth and young adults from around the world to participate in presentations and discussions by leaders of NGOs, businesses, governments and innovative projects. 

The Washington, D.C. Family Church participated in a community health fair in Anacostia Park on Saturday, August 17.

WFWP Norfolk Chairwoman Claire Daugherty recently organized a drive to collect school supplies and send them to two schools in Haiti.
