The Three Scriptures of Cheon Il Guk

Mrs. Won-ju McDevitt read aloud from the first chapter of True Parents’ Holy Wedding and the Creation of Blessed Families, the fourth book of Cham Bumo Gyeong (참부모경), during Hoon Dok Hwe March 1, 2014 (2.1 of the Heavenly Calendar) on the third floor of the Cheong Jeong Gung.

Approximately 160 members—including those from FFWPU headquarters, various organizations, those who completed the “Top Gun” workshops, and others—were in attendance as Mrs. McDevitt read True Father’s words, “The mission of the Messiah of the Second Coming is to come as True Father, to find True Mother, and to establish the position of True Parents.” Mrs. McDevitt also read some of True Father’s words spoken on True Parents’ Holy Wedding Day, in which he explained the difficult providential path until Heaven found True Mother.

The Cham Bumo Gyeong, which will be published on the occasion of the second anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa this year, contains True Parents’ life course described in their own words. Cham Bumo Gyeong will be one of the three scriptures in the era of Cheon Il Guk, along with Cheon Seong Gyeong and Pyeong Hwa Gyeong.

After the reading, True Mother asked who in attendance had joined the Unification Church in the 1960s. When she found that there were few such members in attendance, she said, “You will have to study hard when Cham Bumo Gyeong is published.”

True Mother also said: “Several months prior to the first anniversary of True Father’s Seonghwa, three Cheon Il Guk scriptures were completed. Now they need only to be translated into other languages. Also, on the occasion of the first anniversary of Foundation Day, the establishment of the Cheon Il Guk Constitution was proclaimed. I have provided everything that will be the central teaching and the guidebook for blessed families in the future.”

As Blessed Central Families eagerly prepare for the future, True Mother’s words provide guidance and anticipation for the road ahead.
