Background

Richard Wiltermood was born in Peoria, Illinois in 1942. He joined the Unification in 1979.

Richard attended Unification Theological Seminary from 1982-1985. He served as FFWPU USA City Leader for Tuscaloosa, Alabama between 1985-1987; as FFWPU USA State Leader for Birmingham, Alabama between 1988-1989 and as FFWPU USA State Leader for Louisville, Kentucky between 1989-1991.

In 1991, Richard moved to Hayward, California for Hometown providence activities and stayed there until 2004, when he moved to Reno, Nevada.

Richard received the Marriage Blessing with Kazuyo Sankoda from Fukuoka, in 1982 at the Madison Square Garden Marriage Blessing Ceremony. They have three children.
