Mark & Yoko Lincoln
State Leaders, Nebraska

Background

Mark Edward Lincoln was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1955 to a Jewish father and Catholic mother as the oldest of eight children.  Educated in Catholic schools, he graduated in 1977 with a B.A. in History from Santa Clara University, near San Jose, CA.

Mark joined the Unification Movement in 1979, in Oakland, CA.  After six months, he joined CARP to work with Tiger Park mainly in the Southwest Region until he was called to serve at East Garden in 1984.  True Father had called the husbands of the sisters already working at East Garden to join the staff there.  Mark attended True Parents’ Family from 1984 until 1993, when he returned to Omaha with his wife for the tribal messiah providence.

Once in Omaha, Mark got a job with First Data.  He celebrated his 20th anniversary with the company in 2015.  He served as the Nebraska State Leader from 1998 to 2001, until just after True Father’s 50-state tour of America in July 2001.  Mark then worked primarily with local ministers for the next 10 years.  During that time, he took the Christian History I & II online classes at Unification Theological Seminary.  Two years ago, Mark was elected as church pastor for the Omaha Family Church.  Since then he has taken six online courses from UTS through the education program established by Dr. Michael Balcomb, president of FFWPU USA.

Mark received the Marriage Blessing with Yoko Koyama from Itami, Hyogo, Japan in 1982 in the 2075 Couples’ Marriage Blessing Ceremony.  They have one daughter.
