Background

Rev. Thompson was born and raised in England and joined the Unification Church in San Diego, California in 1979. He received the Marriage Blessing with Masako Harada in 1982. They have five adult children.

Pastor Thompson was a member of the National MFT from 1982 to 1985 and then became national director of the Ocean Church witnessing program from 1985 to 1992. In 1992, he was appointed Pastor of the Bay Area Family Church and now teaches seminars around the country. He is district pastor overseeing churches in Sacramento, Fresno, San Jose, Reno, Nevada, and Arizona, and currently holds the role of West Subregional Director.
